Jonathan

Supervisor

Hi, my name is Jonathan! I am a student at BYU preparing to be a high school or higher education teacher/professor. I love to camp with my family, but I also love reading and watching movies or playing Dungeons and Dragons with my friends. I am a HUGE nerd, and know a lot about Star Wars, Lord of The Rings, Harry Potter, and the like. This is my third year with Wasatch Kids, and I am so excited to have this opportunity to help these kids have a fantastic summer and to better prepare for my career in teaching. I can't wait to make this the best summer of my life!

Kari

Bus Driver

Hi, my name is Kari.

I am so excited to be on board with Wasatch Kids Camp for my third year! I LOVE CHILDREN and love to watch them grow and make new discoveries in their young worlds. I love to laugh, play, learn new things and be creative. 

With my time off, I love to be outside on a nice summer day either paddle boarding, playing Pickleball, hiking, playing ball at the park, enjoying a picnic, or just hanging out with my family and friends. I am looking forward to making a lot of new young friends this summer!

Trent

Counselor

Hi, my name is Trent Hansen. I am going to be a freshman at the U in the fall and am majoring in data science. I have attended WKC since I was 5 and absolutely love camp!! I love music, swimming, boating, camping, computers, gaming, and nature. My 3 younger siblings and younger cousins love to play with me at family gatherings. I am so excited to be a counselor this year as we explore fun adventures together.

Jim

Bus Driver

Hola happy campers! My name is Jim. This is my 15th year working at WKC.

The summer season is my favorite time of year because I love working with both the kids and counselors at camp. I really wish it were always summer and never winter. 

I will be driving one of the camp busses and doubling as a counselor. I see each and every day at camp as a new adventure.  There are so many exciting and fun things to do and see. 

During the school year I drive a school bus for Granite School District. On weekends I like fishing, gardening, back-yard barbeques and watching college and professional sports. 

I like to joke a lot with the campers and I am looking forward to helping the kids and counselors make some awesome memories together this year.

Hi there! My Name is Chloe, I am 20 years old and I love exploring and traveling whenever I get the chance. I have 7 older siblings, I love spreading kindness all around, and I smile a lot!

Olivia

Hi! My name is Olivia, and I am a sophomore at USU studying psychology. I love hikes, gardening, and anything outdoors. I also love reading, writing, and playing sports! I am so excited about this summer, I know it’s going to be a lot of fun.

Hi, I’m Anthea!!! This will be my third summer with Wasatch Kids!  I spend my time skating, snowboarding, and singing, I love camping, hiking and doing anything outdoors!!!
