Hello! My name is Indigo and this will be my second year with Wasatch Kids!  I’m a very bubbly, energetic person who loves nature, reading, and caring for those around me.  I also love working with kids, being outside, theatre and space!  This fall I will be attending UVU to major in Emergency Medical Services to become a paramedic. A fun fact about me is I collect different copies of the book Frankenstein, and currently have about 20!

Hi I'm Karla!  I have 5 boys and love kids I have been a school bus driver for a few years and enjoy my job. Junior high has been my favorite; on Fridays I give my kids treats and they always remind me in the morning that its Friday.  I have a passion for gardening and could be outside all the time getting my hands in the dirt.  I also love landscape design playing with colors, textures, heights, to create beautiful spaces.

Hi, I’m Keegan!  I’m passionate about the outdoors and love helping transfer that love to kids!  I love helping build new skills, enjoy every moment outside and learn more about nature!  No matter what activity we do I love to bring energy and positivity!

My name is Mason Kerns!  I’m 23 years old and a student at Weber State University!  I’m studying film, but my true passion is going on adventures!  I work during the school year as a special education teacher, and I am so excited to spend this summer as a camp counselor!

Hi everyone! My name is Savanna and I am thrilled to be a part of the team at Wasatch Kids this summer! I am from Draper, and I am a recent BYU graduate with a BS in Elementary Education. I love working with kids, and I love the energy of summer camp, so I'm looking forward to all the memorable adventures we will get to have together. When I'm not working, I love doing anything from swimming and biking, to crafting and going to concerts. Let’s make this summer the best one yet- see you in the sun!

Hello Parents and campers! My name is Jake, and I am thrilled to be returning to Wasatch Kids Camp this Summer! This will be my third year working at the best Summer camp ever, and I can't wait to meet you and start making some new memories!  I have worked with kids for 7 years now, and I am very excited to help your children have a fun and memorable summer. When I am not helping your children make memories and learn new life skills, I attend Utah State University as a full-time Chemistry major. Once I graduate I hope to begin my career in my field and settle down with my wife to begin the next phase of my life. Thank you again for allowing me the opportunity to meet and work with your kids!

I love it when it rains and I like to explore what's out there; cultures, nature, anything I can find! I'm always trying to learn new things... right now I'm learning about animals and space. I'm Dalton! I'm a passionate soccer player, and spend most of my time on the field or kicking the ball. I love being outdoors, hanging with friends, hiking, swimming, or just hanging out at the park. I love my time with friends and I'm always up for an adventure or a good laugh. I was a camper with WK for years and I'm excited to now be a counselor!

Hey, my name is Kallyn!  I just finished my freshman year at the University of Utah. Outside of camp I love spending time with friends, traveling, reading, and watching movies.  My favorite book is A Little Life, and my favorite movie is Little Miss Sunshine.  So far, my favorite national park has been the redwoods.  I am going to school to become a pediatric occupational therapist; I love helping people and hope to turn it into a career. I also love kids!  I have 3 younger siblings, aged 15, 8, and 4. I also have 4 nieces and nephews ranging from 1-3 years old.  I have been around and loved playing with kids my whole life.  Summer is my favorite time of year, and I can’t wait for the fun we will have this season!

Hello! My name is Lillie.  I am a rising Senior at JMCHS, where I participate in Robotics, Theater, and Student Ambassadors.  After high school, I plan to pursue a career in healthcare. I enjoy long drives, blasting music, and I’ve recently gotten into F1. Previously, I was a camper and CIT at WKC. I love the adventures that WKC has taken me on and I am very excited to continue them this summer!

My name is Hannah, but my nickname is Theo!  My main interests outside of working with kids are pretty much music related. I play guitar and I'm really into alternative and folk music. I also like hiking when I can get out there.  For future plans, I'm hoping to eventually get a degree in childhood education and then work specifically in the arts. I've worked with kids for a while now and intend to do it as a lifetime career.  I'm really excited to get started with Wasatch kids and meet everyone.

Yá’át’ééh! My name is Liz and it is my third year with WKC! I am part of the Navajo tribe and grew up in New Mexico and Arizona near the Four Corners. The rez is home to me. I didn’t spend time at summer camps growing up and because of that I’m so excited to spend the summer doing all the fun activities with the kids and spending time in the sun. During the school year I am a substitute teacher in the middle schools and love spending time in the classroom. I have my bachelors in ELA Education from Fort Lewis College. I love spending time with kids and building bonds and just having fun with them. In my free time I love to snuggle up with a good book, play video games, and spend any time that I can with family!

Hi! My name is Wyatt, and I am very excited for my first summer at Wasatch Kids Camp! I am from Pennsylvania, and I am currently studying Parks, Recreation, and Tourism at the University of Utah. I love any activity that gets myself and others outside. In my free time, I enjoy rock climbing, backpacking, ski touring, and exploring the outdoors. I am super stoked to meet all of the campers this summer!

Hi! My name is Alex and I’ve been part of the Wasatch Kids community for over 10 years — first as a camper for 6, and working at camp for 4 total. Camp has always been a huge part of my life, and I love helping create the same fun, welcoming environment that made such an impact on me growing up. I enjoy playing basketball, card games, and many other activities with the campers! I’m super excited for another year at camp and to make some great memories!

I'm Joseph!  I have 2 adult children and 2 grandchildren.  During the school year I work for the school district with special needs kids.  I've done that for 4 years now.  My interests are staying healthy, reading, and disc golf.  This is my 2nd year with the camp, and I'm very happy to be returning!

Hey Everyone! My name is Andy, I am 24 years old and currently live in Salt Lake City.  I am so excited to spend my summer with Wasatch Kids Camps. I love to spend time outside, walk with my dog, and hang out with my friends. I am a sucker for live music and love to ski during the winter and play golf during the summer. I can’t wait to get started and meet everyone!

Hi! I’m Christina Paluzzi, a freshman at Alfred State College studying architecture and competing as a Division III wrestler. I love staying active and being outdoors—especially swimming and hiking and I’m always up for a new adventure.

Hello, my name is Zennon, and this will be my first year at Wasatch Kids Camp. I am very excited to share my love for the outdoors and learning with all campers. I am currently obtaining my master's in education for K-6 grade at Westminster University. Over the past year, I have enjoyed learning and building on many activities, including bowling, skateboarding, playing the piano, rock climbing, skiing, and many more!  I received my bachelor's degree at Westminster University, with a major in outdoor education and leadership and a minor in psychology.  I also played lacrosse there!

I study computer science and want to develop video games in the future. I like to spend time outside by hiking, camping, and especially swimming.
