Hello all you Wasatch Kids Campers! My name is K2 and I am a bus driver. This has been a crazy way to end a school year but a cool way to start the summer! I look forward to seeing you all at camp. Hang in there and I will see you soon!

Howdy everyone or should I say AHOY! I'm so excited to be back for another summer here at WKC! I may be an old timer but I never get tired of sailing the old summer sea with these kids. I'll do my best to stay afloat this summer with you all!

Hi, I'm Amarie, and I am so excited for this summer at WKC. I am a student at Southern Utah University working on my Family Life and Human Development degree with a minor in dance. In the past, I have taught reading and dance to elementary school students, and I am so excited to work with kids again this summer.

Hi! I’m Paisley, a young artist from Salt Lake City who loves the outdoors and having fun! If I’m not outside, you can find me painting or doing any sort of crafts. If there’s a body of water, count me in!! I also love music and dancing, even though I have two left feet.

Hi, I’m Nate. I'm from Chicago, Illinois. I am currently going into my junior year of college double majoring in psychology and sociology at the University of Utah. I love playing basketball, listening to music, reading a good book , any outside activities, scuba diving, and buffalo wings. One of my goals this summer is to read 5 books.  Anyways I’m so excited to meet everyone and have tons of fun with everyone this summer!

Hey guys! My name is Tenzin, and I am a rising sophomore at the University of Southern California studying Global Health. I grew up in New Delhi, India and my family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah when I was 12 years old. I moved to Los Angeles in 2023 to continue my education and explore something new! I have always enjoyed working with children and have experience volunteering at Utah Tibetan Association, Primary Children's Hospital, and Circles Salt Lake. I even have two little brothers (ages 3 and 11) of my own who I love dearly. In my free time, I love hiking, going to concerts, volunteering, and visiting art museums. This is my first year at camp and I am super excited for this experience :)

Hi, I'm Zoe!! I'm currently studying art at BYU and like any activity that involves using my hands. I love it when it rains and I like to explore what's out there; cultures, nature, anything I can find! I'm always trying to learn new things... right now I'm learning about animals and space. Hi, I'm Griffen! I was born in California, raised in Cambridge, England, and later moved to Brooklyn, New York. Now, I'm in Utah finishing my English Degree after a break during COVID, with plans to pursue a Master's in BCBA Therapy. I work as a paraprofessional for special needs kids in Salt Lake. This will be my first year at camp, and I'm excited to leave the classroom and dive into the adventures camp offers. I'm passionate about working with children and helping them grow while engaging their imaginations. I can't wait to make unforgettable memories with the campers and ensure they have a fantastic, safe summer!

I love any kind of art, especially clay and ink drawings! My favorite food is pizza or donuts, but I also love to try new things. I also LOVE music, I can listen to any genre, but my favorite has to be pop or K-pop.

Hi my name is Mr Hawk I've been with camp about 6 camp years.  I have a wife and three children, two girls, one boy. I like fishing, cooking, hanging out with people, making others laugh and feel good about themselves.  I love fish tanks.I love fish tanks so much that I have about 20 fish tanks in one room. Well, enough about me I can't wait to meet you guys

Hello, my name is Michael!  I attend Weber State University and I’m majoring in marketing.  I hope to one day be a Family Therapist.  I love sports, skiing, boating, going to the gym and anything outdoors!  I have volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club and I can’t wait to make a positive impact on the kids this summer.  Ever since I was a kid having fun is always my goal. Now as I’m older I want to make sure every kid has the chance to have a fun and safe summer. At Wasatch this is my mission to provide that type of experience for everyone.

Hi, I’m Paisley! This is my first summer at WKC and I could not be more excited! I love all things creative- drawing, painting, sewing, and all kinds of crafts. I am currently studying illustration at UVU, and in the fall I will be a cast member at my favorite place, Walt Disney World! I am the oldest of 5 kids, and I love playing board games and watching Disney movies with my family. Ask me anything about Frozen, I bet I know the answer! See you on the bus!

Hi, my name is Rachell. I'm 20 years old. I'm from Sandy Utah where I still currently live. This will be my first year working at the camp and couldn't be more excited. I have previously worked for my aunt as a babysitter and found I enjoyed it I also enjoy being outdoors going hiking, playing volleyball, cold dipping, and almost anything outdoors. As long as the sun is out I am too.

Yá’át’ééh! My name is Liz and it is my second year with WKC! I am part of the Navajo tribe and grew up in New Mexico and Arizona near the Four Corners. The rez is home to me. I didn’t spend time at summer camps growing up and because of that I’m so excited to spend the summer doing all the fun activities with the kids and spending time in the sun. During the school year I am a substitute teacher in the middle schools and love spending time in the classroom. I have my bachelors in ELA Education from Fort Lewis College. I love spending time with kids and building bonds and just having fun with them. In my free time I love to snuggle up with a good book, play video games, and spend any time that I can with family!

Hi campers and families! My name is Grace and this is my second summer with WKC! I am so excited to meet you all and spend the summer with you! I just graduated this past spring from Utah State University majoring in Human Development and Family Studies. Once all my schooling is done, I would love to have a career as a Child Life Specialist! In my free time, I love reading, roller skating, playing the piano, and anything that allows me to be in the sunshine or with the people I love! I can't wait for all the fun and memories we will be making this summer!

I was always so excited to go to summer camps as a kid and I hope to spread my love and joy for camp with all of you. I am a student at the University of Utah working on a degree in Kinesiology. In the future, I hope to combine my knowledge and my love for kids, and pursue a job in pediatrics. I can't wait to have the best summer ever!!

I recently returned home from spending a semester in India teaching kids English, and I’m excited to continue working with kids back home this summer!! Hello! My name is Jake, and I'm excited to be working as a camp counselor here at Wasatch Kids Camp this summer. While this is my first year at this summer camp, I have worked around children and students for nearly 5 years now and I am very excited to help your children have a fun and memorable summer. When I am not helping your children make memories and learn new life skills, I attend Utah State University as a full-time student. I study Chemistry with a professional emphasis, and I am going into my final year of study. Once I graduate I hope to begin my career in my field and settle down with my fiance to begin the next phase of my life. Thank you again for allowing me the opportunity to meet and work with your kids!

Jeremy

Hi, my name is Jeremy. This is my second year at Wasatch Kids Camp. I had a blast at camp last year! I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for all the campers and myself, and I’m even more excited to see what the future years hold for myself and future campers at camp.

I have 2 daughters, both of whom will be attending camp this year. In my spare time, I love to go bowling, go-karting, golfing, and relaxing, among other things. I also love just staying in and watching a movie curled up on the couch.

I currently drive for Canyons School District during the school year. However, I have been driving commercial vehicles for 13 ½ years, from small paratransit buses to school buses and even all the way up to operating trains for UTA. So, it’s safe to say your kids will be in good hands this summer, not only with myself, but with all of my bus driver co-workers and counselors here at Wasatch Kids Camp!!
