Driver

My name is Ms. Becky and I am a Wasatch Kids Camp Summer Bus Driver.  During the school year, you might spot me out on the road in a forty foot yellow bus!

I’m excited to meet you and go on some amazing adventures together!  It’s going to be a great summer!

Cole

Counselor

Hi, I am Cole. This is my third summer with Wasatch kids and I can’t wait to get started. I love hiking, going to the movies and playing chess. I LOVE working with kids and taking them on adventures. One of my favorite things about working with kids is fostering  their sense of curiosity and wonder. I have found that the best way to do that is to explore the world in all its beauty and excitement. During the school year I work as a critical needs paraeducator. Since coming to wasatch kids  I have developed a yearning for the outdoors and try to go hiking when I can. I am super excited to meet all the new kids and say “ Hi” to all the old ones. See you all at camp!

I’m Anthony, and this will be my first year at the Wasatch Kids Camp!  I’m very excited for the adventures and activities ahead.  I’m going into my first year of college in the fall and I’m majoring in education so I can become a teacher! Some things I enjoy doing are traveling, hiking, camping, trying new things, and playing video games.  I’m looking forward to an awesome summer at camp!

My name is Jojo, I grew up in West Jordan and Riverton.  A couple things about me are I love sports and being active.  I grew up playing football, basketball, running track, and going to the gym. I also have 6 siblings that I fall into the middle of, and with that I have 5 nieces and nephews that I love spending time with.  When I was a kid I went to camp for 4 or 5 years and LOVED IT!!  I’m so excited to be back for my first year as a counselor!!  

Kinzley

Hi!  My name is Kinzley.  This is my first summer working at Wasatch Kids Camp, and I’m super excited. I go to Utah State University and I love it. I’m studying Early Education with a minor in Psychology. Some things about me are that I love doing crafts, reading, and being outside. I love helping people and seeing people enjoy things that they love doing. I can’t wait to work at Wasatch Kids this summer. I think it’s going to be a really fun summer.

My name is Ruby!  I am currently studying Elementary Ed at USU.  For the past several summers, I have enjoyed working as a Kids Tennis Instructor at Alta Canyon. I loved seeing kids develop their skills and gain confidence, as well as getting to know their unique personalities.  In my free time I enjoy doing anything outside. I love gardening, playing tennis and pickleball, hammocking, and reading.  I also play the cello and dabble in guitar.  I am looking forward to getting to know your children at camp this summer!

Savannah

Hi!  My name is Savannah and I can't wait to get started at Wasatch Kids this summer!  I'm an elementary school teacher with experience mostly in grades K-2 but have worked with all age groups! I love teaching and am so excited to fill my summer with super fun activities and getting to be outside.  Some of my favorite things to do are going on walks, camping with my family, coloring, watching movies and eating good food!  I also grew up playing volleyball and softball so I love to play those when I can. I'm looking forward to this summer!

My name is Jim. This is my 17th year working at WKC.

The summer season is my favorite time of year because I love working with both the kids and counselors at camp. I really wish it were always summer and never winter. 

Every day at camp is a new adventure because there are so many exciting and fun things to do and see. 

During the school year, I drive a school bus for the Granite School District. On weekends, I like fishing, gardening, backyard barbeques, and watching college and professional sports. 

I like to joke a lot with the campers, and I am looking forward to helping the kids and counselors make some awesome memories together this year.

Hey! I’m Connie and this will be my 8th year with Wasatch Kids and I love every summer with them! I am so excited to be your counselor this summer. I am a freshman at UVU and things I like to do are paddle boarding, swimming, playing cards/ board games and much more! I can’t wait for another amazing summer with Wasatch Kids!

Hey, how's it hangin'? My name's Julia and this is my 2nd year working at camp. Getting to go on awesome adventures each day is the best. I love hanging out with any camper I meet and making up fun stories with them. I also enjoy making art, writing, cooking, and am currently going to school to be an Urban Planner. Respecting all nature and animals is super important to me and I always love teaching/learning about the world. I am so psyched for this summer!!!

Hi! I’m Stephanie, and I’m so excited to be at camp this summer!  I'm originally from Texas but moved to Utah recently after finishing my degree in Elementary Education! I love spending time outdoors, especially being in the sun, playing volleyball, and reading whenever I get the chance to relax. I enjoy working with kids and creating fun, engaging activities that keep them active, moving, and interacting with one another in positive ways. I’m passionate about helping campers feel included, supported, and excited to participate in everything camp has to offer. I’m really looking forward to making great memories, building connections, and helping create an awesome summer experience!

Hi, I'm Zach  I love to be outdoors, and baseball is my passion!  I have one dog, she is a big ol’ great dane named Penny!  I have lived in the SL valley my whole life, and love it here!  When I’m stuck indoors, I enjoy movies and video games.  My happy place is the Tetons or the beach!

Hi, I’m Nick! I’ve been coming to camp since I was a kid and have made some of my closest friends from it. I’ve also worked at camp for many years as a counselor. It’s been awesome to watch my campers grow and make memories throughout the years. In my free time, I enjoy playing guitar, playing sports, spending time outdoors, and binge watching TV series. I’m looking forward to camp this summer!

Hi! My name is Ronnie and I am so excited to start this summer! I enjoy drawing, walking, crafting and creating. I have been working with children for about 5 years now and I am very glad for the opportunity to get to know more kids this summer.

Hey! I’m Ethan and I’m so excited to be back at Wasatch Kids Camps for another summer! This will be my 7th year working at camp, but my 18th overall. I've been a counselor with every age group in the past and I've also been a camper in most of them! Every year I come back to camp, and at the end of every summer, I find myself just waiting for the next one because this is seriously the most fun, happy, adventurous place I have ever been and I can't imagine myself going a summer without all of the joy and laughter that comes with being at Wasatch Kids Camp! I can't wait to meet all of the kids for the summer and make this one the best one yet!!!

Hi, my name is Dave but the kids call me Bus Driver Dave. I have been driving school bus style buses for over 7 years now.  This year will be my 4th full year driving for Wasatch Kids camp and it is so much fun. I am married to my wife of 20 years and have 4 kids. 2 of them have attend Wasatch Kids Camp and they absolutely love it.  My favorite time is crafting with my spouse and our hobbies include sublimation, vinyl cutting, 3d printing, and working with resin. I am looking forward to driving your kids this Summer and I can't wait to enjoy all the fun things the camp has in store for them. See you all then!

Hello!  I'm Flor.  I am originally from New Jersey but I moved out here for school in 2016.  I graduated from BYU in 2023.  I love the beach and have come to love the mountains as well. Traveling is my passion, and I've been to twelve different countries thus far.  For the last two years I've taught dual language immersion Spanish in a middle school.  I love anything to do with the performing arts, this past year I had one theatre class as well and directed the musical. Reading and writing are my true loves. In September, I'm moving to London to get my masters degree in Creative Writing. My dream is to become a published author and have people lose themselves in a world of my making.

Hi everyone! My name is Sean, and this is my 12th year at camp, 6th year as a counselor! I’m incredibly excited to return for another summer at Wasatch Kids! Camp is an amazing place to foster new friendships, learn new skills, get outdoors, and have an awesome summer! Outside of camp, I love to camp, hike, boat, and basically anything else. I also love photography and videography, with a focus mainly on sports. I’m super excited to be coming back to camp this summer and make it a fantastic year!

Hi, my name is Kari.

I am so excited to be on board with Wasatch Kids Camp for my fourth year! I LOVE CHILDREN and love to watch them grow and make new discoveries in their young worlds. I love to laugh, play, learn new things and be creative. 

With my time off, I love to be outside on a nice summer day either paddle boarding, playing Pickleball, hiking, playing ball at the park, enjoying a picnic, or just hanging out with my family and friends. I am looking forward to making a lot of new young friends this summer!

Hello campers and families!  The Duck Lord returns! I’m Blaise, your rubber ducky-loving camp counselor, and I’m back to bring another summer full of laughs, learning, and legendary dad jokes. You’ll recognize me by my duck-covered swim gear and the trail of rubber ducky stickers I tend to leave behind! I’m 25 years old, originally from sunny Florida (right near Disney!), and I can’t wait to help make this summer one to remember.

Michael is a fourth-year Music Studies student at Westminster University in Salt Lake City. In his spare time, he enjoys singing, playing piano and guitar, and going on hikes and camping trips with his girlfriend and family. This is Michael’s second year with Wasatch Kids Camps, and he’s loved every second of his experience. He’s excited to share countless adventures with Wasatch Kids campers this summer!

Hi! My name is Avari and I am a recent UofU graduate, I obtained my Master's in Reading and Literacy and my Bachelor's in English teaching. I love to hike, swim, and ride my bicycle. I am excited for my first year here with Wasatch Kids and to make so many memories this summer!

Hi, My name is Caleb! This will be my first summer as a camp counselor. I have always loved the outdoors and all kinds of activities.  In my free time I rock climb, snowboard, surf, hike and I love to travel. This year I visited Central Oregon, the Oregon Coast, the Redwoods, and even took a trip to New York City. Before working at camp, I used to be a certified lifeguard and swim instructor. After this summer I will be a first year freshman at Utah Valley University. One of my dreams is to build out a van and travel the US while I live in it. I can not wait for this summer of activities to be done and memories to be made!!
