My name is Ms. Becky and I am a Wasatch Kids Camp Summer Bus Driver.  During the school year, you might spot me out on the road in a forty foot yellow bus!

I’m excited to meet you and go on some amazing adventures together!  It’s going to be a great summer!

Hi, I'm Amarie. I am about to enter my senior year at Southern Utah University, majoring in family life and human development with a minor in psychology. I love reading, writing, ballet, and any outdoor activity. I am super excited for this summer at WKC!

Hi I’m Paisley! This is my second year at Wasatch and I’m so excited to be back! I’m obsessed with all things Disney, and I just spent the last year as a cast member at Walt Disney World! I love all everything creative- drawing, painting, sewing, and all kinds of crafts. I also love kayaking, jet skiing, hiking, and camping! I can’t wait to meet you all and have an awesome summer!

Hi! My name is Elliot Payne, and I’m a student at Westminster College studying acting, vocal performance, and working toward my master’s in education. I’m passionate about singing, acting, and spending time outdoors, and I’m so excited to be joining Wasatch Kids Camp for my first year as a counselor! I’m looking forward to an unforgettable summer full of laughter, learning, and adventure—and I can’t wait to help make this the best camp experience ever!

Hi my name is Ryen! I am from Salt Lake City and grew up in the valley. I've always enjoyed spending my days outside even if it’s just going for a walk. I enjoying rock climbing, hiking, camping and backpacking. In my free time I am usually hanging out with friends or going for hike. I do also love to travel, one of my life longs goals is to move to New Zealand and work out there for a year. Anyways I am so excited for this summer!

My name is Jake!  I would describe myself as fun, social and engaging.  My hobbies are golfing, skiing, and playing pickleball. I also enjoy cars and funny jokes. I am excited to meet the kids attending camp this summer. I was a camper in elementary school and have fond memories of being a camper at Wasatch Kids.

Hi, my name is Trent Hansen. I am going to be a freshman at the U in the fall and am majoring in data science. I have attended WKC since I was 5 and absolutely love camp!! I love music, swimming, boating, camping, computers, gaming, and nature. My 3 younger siblings and younger cousins love to play with me at family gatherings. I am so excited to be a counselor this year as we explore fun adventures together.

Hi, I am Cole. This is my second summer with Wasatch kids and I can’t wait to get started. I love hiking, going to the movies and playing chess. I LOVE working with kids and taking them on adventures. One of my favorite things about working with kids is fostering  their sense of curiosity and wonder. I have found that the best way to do that is to explore the world in all its beauty and excitement. During the school year I work as a critical needs paraeducator. Since coming to wasatch kids  I have developed a yearning for the outdoors and try to go hiking when I can. I am super excited to meet all the new kids and say “ Hi” to all the old ones. See you all at camp!

My name is Jim. This is my 17th year working at WKC.

The summer season is my favorite time of year because I love working with both the kids and counselors at camp. I really wish it were always summer and never winter. 

Every day at camp is a new adventure because there are so many exciting and fun things to do and see. 

During the school year, I drive a school bus for the Granite School District. On weekends, I like fishing, gardening, backyard barbeques, and watching college and professional sports. 

I like to joke a lot with the campers, and I am looking forward to helping the kids and counselors make some awesome memories together this year.

Hey! My name is Connie. I've been going to Wasatch Kids for 7 years now and I've loved every summer with them! I’m so excited to be a junior counselor this summer. I love making the kids laugh and have fun everyday. I love paddle boarding, cards games and anything with the sun! I can’t wait for another awesome summer with Wasatch Kids Camps!

Hi friends! My name is Kate! I love the natural world, adventures, and people, so I’m super psyched about working with the kids this summer! On any given day above 50 degrees, you can catch me in my backyard, usually in a hammock or laying in the grass. Other hobbies include hiking, climbing, art, and volunteering.  I’m studying Environmental Science and Mandarin at USU, and the career goal is to do something to help communities live sustainably. Can’t wait for the adventures this summer!

Hi, my name is Yasmani and I have two little boys. I was born in Cuba and grew up in Miami, FL. I moved to Salt Lake City last year with my family after I got out of the military and I'm currently studying Parks, Recreation and Tourism at the University of Utah with an emphasis in Outdoor Recreation Studies. I love being in nature and going hiking, camping and fishing. This is my first year at Wasatch Kids Camps and I am very excited to be here.

Hey! I’m Ethan and I’m so excited to be back at Wasatch Kids Camps for another summer! This will be my 7th year working at camp, but my 18th overall. I've been a counselor with every age group in the past and I've also been a camper in most of them! Every year I come back to camp, and at the end of every summer, I find myself just waiting for the next one because this is seriously the most fun, happy, adventurous place I have ever been and I can't imagine myself going a summer without all of the joy and laughter that comes with being at Wasatch Kids Camp! I can't wait to meet all of the kids for the summer and make this one the best one yet!!!

Bus Driver

Hi, my name is Dave but the kids call me Bus Driver Dave. I have been driving school bus style buses for over 6 years now.  This year will be my 3rd full year driving for Wasatch Kids camp and it is so much fun. I am married to my wife of 20 years and have 4 kids. 2 of them have attend Wasatch Kids Camp and they absolutely love it.  My favorite time is crafting with my spouse and our hobbies include sublimation, vinyl cutting, 3d printing, and working with resin. I am looking forward to driving your kids this Summer and I can't wait to enjoy all the fun things the camp has in store for them. See you all then!

Hello everyone! My name is Sara, and I’m originally from Maine! I was drawn to Utah because
of the beautiful mountains and vast desert. In the winter, I work as a youth snowboard
instructor at Park City Canyons! I graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 2023
with a Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts. I have a passion for the outdoors, and that’s where most of
my free time is spent. My other hobbies include crocheting, jewelry making, and reading!

Hello! My name is Kyleen and I am 20 years old. This is my first summer here at camp and I could not be more excited!  I am entering my senior year at SUU getting my Acting BFA. I enjoy all things art and theatre, and love guitar and writing music. I also love to hike and be outdoors, and cannot wait to share this beautiful summer with the kids!

Hi, my name is Kari.

I am so excited to be on board with Wasatch Kids Camp for my third year! I LOVE CHILDREN and love to watch them grow and make new discoveries in their young worlds. I love to laugh, play, learn new things and be creative. 

With my time off, I love to be outside on a nice summer day either paddle boarding, playing Pickleball, hiking, playing ball at the park, enjoying a picnic, or just hanging out with my family and friends. I am looking forward to making a lot of new young friends this summer!

Hello campers and families!  The Duck Lord returns! I’m Blaise, your rubber ducky-loving camp counselor, and I’m back to bring another summer full of laughs, learning, and legendary dad jokes. You’ll recognize me by my duck-covered swim gear and the trail of rubber ducky stickers I tend to leave behind! I’m 25 years old, originally from sunny Florida (right near Disney!), and I can’t wait to help make this summer one to remember.

Michael is a third-year Music Studies student at Westminster University in Salt Lake City. In his spare time, he enjoys singing, playing piano and guitar, and going on hikes with his girlfriend and family. He loves to be outside, and finds that it’s especially magical when experienced with friends. He’s excited to share countless adventures with Wasatch Kids campers this summer!
